Dental Crowns & Bridges
These restorations are two of the most reliable ways we can fix damaged teeth and even replace missing teeth. They’ll not only restore your smile functionally, but cosmetically as well. We can usually give them to you in just two visits, and they can easily last for decades with the proper maintenance. Want to learn more about everything they can do for your smile? Fillings have been the go-to treatment for fixing small cavities and slightly damaged teeth for decades. In the past, they were primarily made of a substance called amalgam, which is a combination of different metals. While it helps restore a tooth’s strength, it definitely has some drawbacks. Metal fillings always leave a dark gray mark on the teeth that is impossible to hide, and they often make them sensitive to hot and cold temperatures.
Thanks to tooth-colored fillings, you won’t have to deal with any of these problems. We like to use them because we can color match the material to a person’s natural enamel, giving them a subtle treatment that won’t affect the appearance of their smile. They are made of a composite resin, meaning they are metal free, so tooth sensitivity is now a problem of the past. Even better, they actually bond to the teeth much better than traditional fillings, meaning you’ll have a tooth that will look great AND last much longer.
Full and Partial Dentures
One of the quickest and most effective ways to replace missing teeth is by using dentures. Unlike those in the past, modern day dentures are smaller, more comfortable, and more natural-looking than ever before.
If you are missing teeth throughout your mouth, we can seamlessly replace them using a partial denture. Also, for those who are missing an entire row of teeth, we can provide you with a custom-fitted full denture as well.
Before you scroll past this, we just have to say that root canals are actually a practically PAINLESS procedure that we use all the time. They are actually one of the best tools we have to relieve severe dental pain and save teeth that would otherwise need to be removed. We use them to treat teeth that have suffered damaged to their innermost layer where the sensitive nerve resides. Thanks to modern day dental techniques, you’ll be surprised at what you WON’T feel during a root canal.
We’ll always try to preserve your natural teeth, but sometimes, the best course of treatment may involve extracting one. This may be the case if:
- A tooth is too damaged to be saved
- Advanced gum disease has damaged the bone underneath a tooth
- To make room for a partial/full denture
- To replace the tooth with a much stronger dental implant
- To remove an impacted (stuck) or infected wisdom tooth
Whatever the case may be, we’ll be sure to handle your extraction with a very gentle touch. Often, most patients don’t even notice when we actually remove the tooth!
